Profile:

PAMELA has credits in investigative journalism, daily news, and magazine publications primarily in the areas of environmental, political, and minority issues. She has reported for NPR, KUNM Public Radio, and written freelance for local alternative and community papers and commercial magazines. She is a published poet in select feminist anthologies, academic literary journals, and alternative community newspapers. She is currently writing environmental fiction and psychological narrative.

Much of her writing has its roots in years of hiking, backpacking, white-water rafting, skiing, and gardening. She is a naturalist and environmentalist working on behalf of wilderness and wildlife and wildlife preservation.

She brings to her coaching many years of mental health counseling, teaching, and training, encouraging students, clients, writers, and artists to think outside the box, explore convergent and divergent thinking and approaches to problem solving and expression. She is interested in working with writers and artists that are exploring social, cultural, and political themes in an integrative context, revealing dichotomous ideas and constructs through expressions of various modalities, to sow the seeds of debate and dialog that foster social change.
